glocks for concealed carry

Glocks For Concealed Carry - The Glock 43 is just that, a sub-compact 9mm model with stealth and comfort in mind. The 43 was the predecessor to the improved 43x, which significantly improved key aspects of the original Glock 43. Read on to see my thoughts on the Glock 43.

And of course it's designed to be carried concealed: the Glock 43 is small enough to fit neatly in your pocket (or safe) as well as in an ankle holster or any type of bag. This pistol is the perfect size for any carry style, but it has its limitations.

It doesn't include many stock magazines. It's a big problem for me. I don't think 6 rounds is enough, especially in dire situations when the adrenaline is rushing and pistol rounds tend to require more hits than you think. You can grab a revolver with little chance of injury.

Let's talk recoil. Small car conclusion: It's always the worst. The frame isn't big enough to absorb some of the sudden force of the 9mm, so you'll find the recoil actually struggles a bit more than the compact. The kick is snappy but not out of control. That being said, I don't really bring out the 43 outside of drilling.

The 43 retains Glock's trademark reliability. I've only experienced a few jams in 1000 rounds. Reliability is an important consideration when choosing a carry pistol. 43 offers if you want to wear it. You are unlikely to fail.

Accuracy is decent. As far as small cars go, I don't usually shoot further than 25 yards, and the Glock 43 worked well in that range.

The problem is that I noticed that I flinched a little from the sudden recoil. After figuring that out, the 43 at 25 yards worked well.

Glock 43 Review: Ultimate Concealed Carry Gun

I have to admit that I really like the look of the Glock 43. I've always been fascinated by smaller versions of my favorite pistols. Like the compact G19 and full-size G17, but scaled down a bit. In both features and looks, it's still a Glock.

$499, same as the Gen 4 Glock 19. I have no chance of buying this as a collectible or for any purpose other than review.

The Glock 43 is fine, but you don't rush to buy it. It works well but doesn't have a decent capacity and recoil is awkward (which is especially important if you're considering buying this as a gift for someone), but if you like your Glock you'll have to worry about forking money, that would be a pretty good addition to your collection.
